This Cookie Policy explains how Embay Consulting Inc. uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies on the EmbayLMS website (embaylms.com). Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data a website can store in your browser to remember your preferences and to make the site work.

Analytics, only if you opt in
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and HubSpot to connect the pages you viewed to an enquiry you choose to send us. These are set only if you turn on the Analytics category. Until you do, the scripts are not loaded at all and no request is made to Google or HubSpot, we do not load them in a restricted mode, we do not load them.

Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization on, and with Google Signals and advertising personalization disabled, we do not use it to build advertising audiences or to retarget you elsewhere. Google acts as our processor for this data. See our sub-processor list.
Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function (language and consent preferences). Always on; no consent needed.
- Analytics: Google Analytics and HubSpot, as described above. Off by default; only set with consent.
- Marketing: would measure advertising campaigns and show you targeted content. Off by default; only set with consent. None are in use today, we run no advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.
Managing and withdrawing consent
You can review or change your choices at any time using the “Cookie preferences” control in the website footer. If you turn the Analytics category off after having turned it on, we stop collecting immediately and delete the Google and HubSpot cookies listed above from your browser. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because our strictly necessary items keep the site working, disabling them may affect functionality such as remembering your language.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for any non-essential cookies, as required by Quebec’s Law 25 and the GDPR. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
